Report on the 2020 parliamentary and presidential election observation in Ghana

Ghana has made significant strides to ensure the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) becomes a reality.

However, people with disabilities and other excluded groups are not given equal opportunities to participate in the electoral process. As a result, the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) – with funding support from Ghana Somubi Dwumadie – deployed approximately 150 observers to collect data for evidence-based advocacy for full inclusion. This report details their findings.
