Nikon Lenswear UK backs Sightsavers for charity fundraiser

May 2024

Optical lens specialist Nikon Lenswear UK has chosen Sightsavers for its summer fundraising campaign.

Nikon Lenswear UK will make a donation to Sightsavers each time an optical practice participating in the appeal purchases Nikon’s spectacle lenses with a SeeCoat™ coating.

Independent opticians across the UK have signed up to promote the fundraiser in their stores. The money raised will support Sightsavers’ vital work to protect sight, fight neglected tropical diseases and ensure everyone can claim their rights.

Sightsavers is the first eye health charity that Nikon Lenswear UK has supported with its annual fundraiser, which will run from 1 June to 31 August 2024.

Jill McLellan, managing director at Nikon Lenswear UK, said: “Along with our independent optician partners, we’re extremely proud to be supporting Sightsavers for our 2024 charity campaign, knowing that our donation will help make an impactful difference to the communities who need it most.”
