Sightsavers partners with Cantel to protect sight and improve education

November 2022

IT company Cantel has pledged to help save sight and improve access to education as part of its new corporate partnership with Sightsavers.

Cantel is based in the UK and delivers IT services and maintenance in Europe, Asia, Africa and North and South America.

Staff at Cantel will be raising funds for Sightsavers’ work in Africa and Asia to provide eye tests and sight-saving treatments including medication and surgery. They will also be supporting our disability rights work through our education and social inclusion programmes.

Cantel commercial director Richard Cusworth said: “We chose Sightsavers for a number of reasons, including the wish to restore sight to as many people as possible. After learning more about Sightsavers, we understand that Sightsavers not only funds sight-saving operations in countries with little to no social care, but it also helps educate people by supporting inclusive education and funding development programmes.”
