Sightsavers ambassador Sunetra Sarker is starring in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing on BBC1.

Sunetra, who plays Dr Zoe Hanna on medical drama Casualty, has been an ambassador for Sightsavers since 2009 when she wore a blindfold for a day to highlight the plight of thousands of blind women around the globe.

She’s been a great supporter of our work – we’ll be voting for her and hoping that she dances her way to victory.
