Trachoma can be spread from person to person, and by eye-seeking flies.

Stage 2

The eyes start to itch and weep, and become very sore in sunlight.

The eyelids turn inward, causing the eyelashes to scrape the eye.

Stage 4

This condition is trichiasis, which eventually steals sight.
